Four Winds Lodge is currently entering its final construction phase as we prepare to open along the shores of Lake Superior.
Because many early guests have been following the journey of the project, we’ll occasionally post brief updates here as work progresses on the land.
This winter arrived early along the Lake Superior shoreline and brought heavier snowfall than usual, which has kept snow on the ground longer than expected. As spring approaches and conditions improve, site access will reopen and construction will resume. Once access is possible, work will move quickly into the next phase.

Many guests and supporters have followed the progress of Four Winds through videos and updates from the land. As construction begins this spring, we’ll continue sharing occasional photos and updates here.
